Remembrance Trees at Christmas
Our Pohutukawa Memories Trees could provide you and your family with a unique way to remember someone special. Choose your donation amount and whether you would like to leave a message. Your flower and/or message will stay on our online tree for you to share and others to view.
You may like your memorial gift to remain anonymous; this is also possible.
With the assistance of Bob Steiner Ceramics, Mercy Hospice Auckland has developed a series of ceramic art works displayed in the Hospice courtyard. Each piece represents either the memory of a particular person or the contribution made by individuals, families, companies and other organisations to the future service of Mercy Hospice Auckland.
The purchase of a ceramic piece provides both a tangible and lasting memory and also helps to ensure that our services can continue to be provided free of charge to the people of Auckland City. Prices range from $250 up to $4000.

Another way you can honour a loved one and show appreciation of care received is to ask friends and family to consider making a donation in lieu of flowers to Mercy Hospice. All donations received are recorded and an honour list is provided to the bereaved next of kin. Return envelopes and donation boxes are also available. If this is something you wish to consider and need our support, please contact us.
At least twice a year Mercy Hospice offers an opportunity for family and friends to gather for a time of reflection and prayer, to honour the memory of loved ones who have died. We invite you to attend our Remembrance Services, please check our Upcoming Events for the date and location of our next service.
Each year at Christmas time Mercy Hospice Remembrance Trees are displayed at various local shopping malls from 7th December.
The ritual of writing a name on a Christmas bauble and hanging it on a tree is a special way of remembering a loved one who is no longer with us.
