Hospice Awareness Week May 17-23
Hospice Awareness Week is our most significant opportunity to tell you what we need and how you can help. A donation from you will assist us to reach $5000 a day needed to do our job. There are many ways you can help us reach our goal:
- Shop this week at New World Victoria Park or New Work Remuera and "Add a Dollar" for Mercy Hospice Auckland to your grocery bill or look out for our street collectors in your area on Friday or Saturday.
- You can hold a Tea Party at your work place or with your family and friends and ask for a gold coin donation. A Tea Party Pack can be downloaded here or e-mail info@mercyhospice.org.nz and a pack will be posted to you.
Your generosity will ensure that we can all access palliative care when we need it, free of charge. If you can, please give us a hand.
Thank You Volunteers
Thank you to our team of amazing volunteers who helped us during our Street Appeal on Friday 21 and Saturday 22 May.
Over 70 volunteers braved torrential rain and icy winds on Friday and light showers on Saturday to shake a bucket outside supermarkets, malls and on the streets of Auckland.
From all the team at Mercy Hospice Auckland, thank you!
