HOSPICE AWARENESS WEEK 14 – 20 MAY 2012
This is Mercy Hospice Auckland's most significant opportunity to let the community know about hospice services and break myths surrounding hospice care.
How you can help this Awareness Week ...
1. Become a street collector
Can you spare a couple of hours to shake a bucket for hospice?
We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help with our street collection taking place Friday 11 May and Saturday 12 May. We are in around 35 sites across Auckland City and the central suburbs.
2. Host a Hospice Cuppa
Take a break for a good cause by holding your own Hospice with colleagues,
family or friends. Simply ask your guests to make a donation and help us raise
the vital funds we need to continue to provide free care to our community.
It's
a simple event to run and we have a fantastic free pack to help you with your
fundraising.
The Hospice Cuppa pack includes:
- Dilmah tea
- Caffe L'affare coffee
- Recipes by 2011 Masterchef winner Nadia Lim
- Invitations
- Donation box
