Farmers & Hospice

We are excited to announce our new partnership with Farmers - Caring Connections in our Community. This partnership will see 27 hospice services throughout the country benefit in a number of ways.

The over-arching relationship will be referred to as 'Caring Connections in our Community'. The name is very fitting because it reflects the community based nature of hospice services and the sense of connection that Farmers has in each community.

A key element of the relationship is support for our annual Tree of Remembrance fundraising campaign in all 55 Farmers stores nationwide. In exchange for a donation you will receive a beautiful remembrance card, write your personal message and place on the dedicated Remembrance Tree in-store.

For hospices throughout the country the partnership with Farmers opens up many opportunities to raise funds and also raise awareness of the work we do caring for people who are dying.

Farmers have been incredibly generous with their support of the Trees of Remembrance – donating the trees and remembrance tags, supporting us with marketing materials and most importantly opening up their stores to provide hospices with a safe, secure and incredibly busy sites for this fundraising event.

This support has enabled several hospices who have previously not run this event to become part of the nationwide activity – such a meaningful gift to the community as remember those special to us at Christmas.

So please visit your Farmers store today and get involved with the Hospice Tree of Remembrance for 2014.
