Art garden opens its doors for Hospice

A well-known art garden and gallery will soon be open to the public again.
Ian and Wendy Johnstone's Coatesville garden is one of 12 new gardens to be showcased in the annual Heroic Garden Festival from February 18 - 19.
The festival features both urban and country gardens and all funds raised go to Mercy Hospice Auckland.

Gorgeous Georgian garden is a 'little bit of home'

Angela Spooner's childhood in England inspired the design of her 20-acre garden.
"This is my little bit of home," she says.
The garden, Mincher, will be available to visit through the Heroic Garden Festival where garden-lovers can bask in the beauty of Auckland's best gardens.

Seeking Volunteers for Ellerslie Hospice Shop

We are seeking Volunteers for our Ellerslie Homeware store.
Come and join our team and help turn second hand goods into first class care for our patients and families using Mercy Hospice services. Our Ellerslie Shop offers a great community vibe, an opportunity to meet new people, and develop retail skills. Duties are one 3 hour session per week or fortnight, Monday-Saturday, 10am-1pm or 1pm-4pm.

The Sax family recently 'lived every moment' at Pukekohe Race Track with Indycar champ Scott Dixon. Alma Sax, long time fundraising volunteer for Mercy Hospice Auckland and her husband John won the auction item of hot laps with the legendary Scott Dixon at Mercy Hospice's fundraising event 'Ten'. A fun filled and action packed afternoon was had by all, which was complete with a six course Tattinger champagne degustation dinner at local restaurant Cibo's.
