Your regular donation is one of the most powerful and meaningful gifts you could ever give.
Your gift of gratitude can help ensure Mercy Hospice is here to care for other families in the future.
Honour the memory of someone dear while supporting the care of those who need us today.
Employees can give once or set up regular payments to come out of their salary automatically.
If you aren’t in a position to financially support Mercy Hospice there are other ways to support our work.
Host a morning tea, run a marathon, or create your own event.
Regular gifts provide predictable and consistent funding, helping us plan ahead and ensure that our compassionate palliative care can continue to be provided to patients and their families at no charge in the future.
You’re in control – choose any gift amount to give to Mercy Hospice on a weekly, fortnightly, monthly, or yearly basis.
Donations occur automatically, saving you time and effort.
For more information about becoming a regular giver, contact the fundraising team.
Free care funded by kindness
All Mercy Hospice services are free of charge.
As a charity, we rely on the generosity and kindness of others to be able to provide the compassionate specialist palliative care that our community needs, at no cost to them.
If it’s appropriate for you and your family, please consider a donation to Mercy Hospice.
As a special way to remember your loved one you can purchase a commemorative tile in our Past, Present and Future courtyard, with their name engraved on an adjacent honours board. These beautiful memorial tiles provide a tangible and lasting tribute from families and friends to a loved one who has died in our care.
The courtyard is open at all times for families to view their tiles. You are welcome to visit. Contributions to this project enable our legacy of care to continue to be provided free of charge to Aucklanders.
Thank you so much to Bob Steiner for assisting us to develop a series of stunning ceramic artworks.
Making a donation in memory of a loved one is an incredibly kind gesture and a beautiful way to honour them, while also helping to raise vital funds to ensure Mercy Hospice care remains free of charge to all those who need us.
If you are holding a memorial service and wish to have a donation box at the service, please contact us for our support.
Setting up workplace or payroll giving is easy and effective. Employees can donate directly through your payroll system while also receiving immediate tax benefits that reduce their PAYE.
It’s a simple and impactful way to give to a cause that matters to you.
To find out if your workplace already supports payroll giving, or to set up payroll giving, please ask your payroll administrator to contact us.
Fundraise your way
Mercy Hospice relies on community support to continue providing specialist palliative care to Aucklanders and their families, free of charge. Mercy Hospice needs to raise $4 million net each year through donations, events, fundraising initiatives and retail, to ensure we can provide our services for free.
We are so grateful to all those who give their time, effort and energy to fundraise for Mercy – thank you.
Host a morning tea, run a marathon, or create your own event. However you choose to help Mercy Hospice, we’ll support you every step of the way.
There are many ways to get started:
Select a fundraising idea that fits your interests.
Consider logistics, timing, and how you will collect donations (such as Givealittle or Grassrootz)
Promote your fundraiser through social media, community networks, and word of mouth.
Deliver your fundraiser and engage your community.
Every contribution helps support hospice care in the community.
