The phenomenal response of the New Zealand people have set the scene for a return to Level 2 at midnight 7 March 2021! Thank you for everyone’s patience with the sudden changes.
INPATIENT UNIT
Our inpatient unit is open, as it has been throughout all the levels of this pandemic.
Visitor restrictions at Level 2 limit visitors to maximum of 2 visitors per patient at any one time, but these visitors can come and go freely. In the last hours of life special considerations for more visitors, to a total of three, would be considered.
COMMUNITY SERVICE
Our community service is fully operational. Our community nurses will continue to be based at home for the remainder of the week, coming onsite when necessary. The nurses are available for telephone or video consultations and home visits.
FAMILY SUPPORT TEAM
The FST will remain available to patients and their whānau, in our inpatient unit or in the community. The team will be working on-site or remotely from home for the remainder of the week.
RETAIL SHOPS
Thank you to the wonderful team of 5 million working together, we are super excited for our retail shops to be back up and running at Level 2. Come and visit one of our shops across Auckland to grab some gorgeous steals!
Mercy Hospice currently cares for 300 patients at any one time in your community and we could not do it without you. Thank you so much for everything you do, because every gift you donate, every hour you volunteer, every event you attend, every person who remembers us, makes a difference.
