In order to bridge the gap between Auckland District Health Board funding and the cost of operations at Hospice, Mercy has a busy and diverse events calendar with something for everybody. Events are a great way to have fun, meet new people and give something back to Mercy at the same time, and we would absolutely love to get you involved.
Mercy hosts a range of events to cater and suit everyone in our community. From smaller get-togethers hosted at the Hospice, to larger, more extravagant events at venues such as The Grand Millennium Hotel, there is always a fun, exciting and fulfilling event to suit you.
Community fundraising is also an important part of our events program. If you would like to raise money for Mercy Hospice by hosting your own event, or in any other way, we would love to hear from you! We have many tips and tricks to pass over to help you on your fundraising journey and we will support you every step of the way.
Some popular and easy ways to fundraise in your community for Mercy include:
– School mufti days
– Bake sales
– Donations in lieu of birthday or wedding gifts
– A marathon, fun run or other fitness activity
