COUNSELLING

Exploring the emotional experience & response to death and dying

Our highly qualified counsellors, who are full members NZ Association of counsellors, use their expertise to provide support and guidance on how to navigate the palliative care journey. Counselling, which can be accessed at home as well at the hospice, can offer patients and their whānau a safe and supportive environment to explore their emotional/inner experience and response to death and dying. Our counsellors also offer free bereavement support to whānau and caregivers in the weeks or months following the loss of a loved one who was cared for by Mercy Hospice.

If you would like to talk with one of our counsellors, please get in touch here.
